Sawasdee House has a fantastic location right in the heart of vibrant Bangkok. I appreciated being able to easily walk to nearby attractions like the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, perfect for resting after a day of exploring. I enjoyed having a window overlooking the street, bringing in natural light. The air conditioning worked well, which was essential in the tropical heat. I noticed the internet access was a bit shaky, especially on the fourth floor. it could definitely use some improvement. On the downside, there’s no lift, which made lugging my suitcase to the fourth floor a challenge. The breakfast was decent, yet it left a bit to be desired, lacking variety. a wonderful place to stay, but keep in mind the stair situation if you have heavy luggage.

The mattrace was comfortable, making for a decent sleep after a long day exploring. It’s got a good setup for solo travelers, with the room offering a window to soak in a bit of the local hustle and bustle for a unique vibe.
Unfortunately, there were issues like mold on the ceiling that gave off a strong smell upon entry, until the AC kicked in. The noise from the busy walking street can be quite disruptive at night, making earplugs a smart move. The shower situation was a bit chaotic—water got everywhere unless you held the shower head in a specific spot, which was inconvenient. Lastly, the facilities overall seemed to have seen better days, hinting at the need for some significant maintenance work.

Decent breakfast options, clean facilities.
No lift access and a challenging shower setup that soaked the entire bathroom if not managed carefully. After a long day, lugging my suitcase up to the fourth floor felt more like a trek than an easy arrival. Wi-Fi connection was hit or miss, especially up high. The late checkout process could be straightforward but turned out to depend on the timing, which left a bit to be desired.

It was just a strong match for a weekend trip in Bangkok with good price value. The egg rolls from the restaurant were decent but had issues with some burnt items. Just know that no lift is available, so pack light.
